Most of the optical fiber facilities nowadays they are made using one of the three known methods more. Each one of them has advantages and disadvantages respect to the other and are chosen for each installation based on several considerations like for example, economic, right of step, characteristics of the network, aesthetic and of taken care of of the surroundings. Two of these methods enrutan the cable by the subsoil and the other transports the cable over the land by means of posts. Schematically:

• Direct excavation
• Canalized and buried
• Aerial installation
