Systems for FTTH optical access
FTTH >> Technology

Two main network architectures for the systems of optical accesses exist: active architectures and passive architectures.
The main difference between active and passive architectures is in that passive bandwidth available multiplexa in a same fiber distributing it between all the users to equal parts or according to a pre-established quality on watch, however in the active architectures the bandwidth available is dedicated by fiber and user. Evidently, this one type of accesses has a higher cost.
Between the active architectures we mainly found Active networks PTP (Point To Point) and Ethernet networks (Activates Star Ehternet) and for the passive network architectures, networks PON (Passive Optical Network).
